Windows 7 Support Ending in 2 Months – Is your business ready?
On the 14th January 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security, software updates or technical support for PCs running Windows 7.
What does this mean for your company?
In practical terms, it means that without vital security and system updates, your computers will be at greater risk for viruses and malicious attacks. This could pose a huge security risk to the company. Even if only one Windows 7 machine remained on the network all the data could be at risk.
Don’t panic yet… just contact us!
You can continue to use Windows 7 for the rest of 2019, but once the support ends, your PC will become more vulnerable to security risks and will quickly become outdated.
Going forward, the best way for you to stay secure is on Windows 10. You can upgrade your current operating system, or, replace old PC’s and laptops with new machines that will come with the most up-to-date operating system pre-installed.
We are currently helping lots of our existing & new clients work out plans to deal with any remaining PCs running Windows 7 – including a full onsite auditing of problem computers if required and including costs for the various options and upgrades.
